Johns Hopkins Bayview's 26-bed Terrace Rehabilitation Unit provides comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, as well as skilled rehabilitation care. The unit is located in the Johns Hopkins Bayview Care Center, which is accredited by the Joint Commission, as well as the Commissionon Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARF accreditation has been awarded to the Care Center for its inpatient rehabilitation programs and stroke specialty program. Nurses working on the Terrace Rehabilitation Unit have the pleasure of serving within these accredited programs. They treat patients with orthopaedic, neurological, and other medical or surgical conditions. Working side-by-side with a team of rehabilitation experts, the diverse nursing team helps patients regain function, become as independent as possible and return to a community setting.
