The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a 28-bed unit where a diverse, dedicated staff cares for a wide variety of cardiac and pulmonary patients. Conditions treated include CHF, MI, ACS, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, respiratory failure and others. Our nurses work with physicians to provide quality care in a close-knit environment based on collaboration and teamwork.

Nurses enjoy self-scheduling, unit-based decision making committees and mentorship programs. Abundant growth and educational opportunities are available, including ACLS and telemetry certifications, EKG courses and many more.
