The care provided by John Hopkins Women's Services at Johns Hopkins Bayview affects women’s entire lives and the lives of their families. The regular checkups our nurses provide throughout pregnancies give babies the best chance at a healthy start in life and lower the risk of complications. We also provide pediatric-adolescent gynecology, intertility and high-risk obstetrical services.

Nurses are involved in all aspects of the quality, compassionate care we provide to females of childbearing age through later adulthood. Our nurses perform obstetric services, adolescent obstetric care, pregnancy testing, family planning, gynecological services, colposcopy, lletz procedures and patient education–all with a common goal of providing the best comprehensive women's health care in the region.
