Tuition Reimbursement / College Savings Plan

Johns Hopkins Bayview is committed to the professional and personal growth of employees. To honor this commitment, several tuition reimbursement and savings plans are provided to help employees and their families reach their educational goals.
 

Tuition Reimbursement

After completing a probationary period, employees are eligible to receive tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000 per fiscal year for approved coursework. Full-time employees are reimbursed for 100 percent of their tuition, while part-time employees receive 50 percent. In return, employees must agree to work for Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for one year after completion of their coursework.
  

Dependent Tuition Reimbursement

Full-time employees with two years of service are eligible to receive 50 percent payment of their dependent child’s full-time (minimum of 12 credits) undergraduate tuition and fees, up to a maximum of Johns Hopkins University freshman tuition. This program includes most colleges and universities throughout the United States.
  

College Savings Plan

All employees are eligible to participate in the Maryland Pre-Paid College Trust and Maryland College Investment Plan.

Participation in each is done through payroll deduction.
